Why SBSHR was formed

The City of El Segundo and the Wiseburn Unified School District partnered to construct a new aquatics facility to be located at 2240 Grand Avenue, El Segundo, CA 90245. In order to help offset the costs for an aquatics center, SBSHR was formed to spearhead a $6 Million fundraising campaign to expand the project by providing numerous upgrades and enhancements to transform the facility from a basic high school pool to an excellent aquatics facility available to the South Bay community that will accommodate more capacity, offer more features, and better serve the community.

Why YOU Should Donate To SBSHR

The aquatics center, to be located in El Segundo, California, is destined to become one of the most utilized and appreciated community facilities in the South Bay. You can be integral to making this enhanced facility a reality.

It will take both public and private interests to attain our $6 million goal to bridge the gap between the Wiseburn Unified School District/City of El Segundo funding commitment and the cost of the upgraded facility.

By donating to this initiative, you make a statement. You let it be known that sports, health, and recreation are a vital aspect of South Bay living. You stand together with your peers and you make a difference.
